Dow's 10 Year Aged Tawny Port
A bright, sweet port, Dow's 10 Year Aged Tawny Port has been masterfully blended. The wines that have gone into this port have been aged for an average of ten years, meaning that some of the wines have been aged longer, developing oaky notes of vanilla and butter that pairs beautifully with the younger fresh fruit flavors. The ten year has just started to show off its characteristic tawny color, and has ruby red tones that gradually fade to amber towards the edge of the glass. Though well-balanced and characteristically sweet, this is a drier port than many and pairs well with creamy cheeses and custardy desserts. In order to get this most out of this port, you'll want to enjoy it at cellar temperature, slightly chilled to about 55 degrees.
